  1. Can I get a CD/DVD instead of downloading?

    Yes, you can choose to order a DVD with free shipping, or you can download Quicken and install it right away. If you choose to download Quicken, you will get an installation file that you can run right from your computer–no need to burn it to a CD first. If you prefer to have a hard copy, you can order a DVD with free shipping. Either way, once you purchase, Quicken is yours for use on up to three (3) computers.

    If you purchase one copy of Quicken, the license entitles you to install and use it on up to three (3) computers at the same time.

  1. What are the licensing options for Quickbooks? How many users can I have with one license?

    QuickBooks licensing is based on the number of users you want to have accessing QuickBooks. The single-user license allows you to install QuickBooks on one computer plus one portable (laptop) computer, but only one person is allowed to use Quickbooks.

    There are several options if you need to have multiple users. You can purchase a 3- or 5-user license pack. This license allows you to install QuickBooks on 3 or 5 computers and 3 or 5 users can access it. In addition, up to 5 users can access and work on the same company file at the same time.

    Another option is to purchase multiple single-user licenses. You can use up to 5 single-user licenses of QuickBooks to access the same company file simultaneously.

  3. What are the minimum system requirements to run QuickBooks?

    QuickBooks requires the following:

  5. Is there a difference between the download version and the DVD version?

    No, you can download QuickBooks or purchase the DVD. The only difference is how long it takes for you to install it and get up and running (with the DVD, you have to wait for it to come in the mail).
